BEIJING, February 12(Guangming Online) —People from all walks of life over the country have spontaneously offered support since the novel coronavirus (2019-nCoV) outbreak in Wuhan, central China’s Hubei Province.

Contribute to a bright future instead of benefiting from misfortune

Hao Jin, who was born in the 90s, has donated 18,000 surgical masks in Changde, central China’s Hunan Province. The source of these masks is very unusual.

Last year, Hao worked briefly for a surgical mask factory and resigned his position later on. However, this factory couldn’t pay his wages due to its poor performance. Thus, he was paid with surgical masks worth 20,000 yuan (2,873 dollars) as compensation.

When he heard about the epidemic and the lack of surgical masks around the Spring Festival, Hao’s first thought was to pass on the surgical masks to those who are in need.

The Secretary of the Communist Party branch of his village wanted to pay him, but he refused the offer and said, “I won’t take a penny from you. It’s unacceptable for me to benefit from our country’s misfortune.”

Guide

A truck with supplies has arrived at the hospital.

A doctor ran here to lead the way, yet he did not dare to board the car.

“I’m suspected to be infected. I’ll just lead you outside the car!”

Then he ran in front of the car to lead it in.

Plenty of donations with few words

On Jan. 31, A truck with 500 jin (a jin equals half a kilo) of disinfectant has arrived at Jinan West Railway Station in east China’s Shandong Province.

Car stopped, goods unloaded, the driver then drove away without leaving any information.

Disinfecting the train station is on the top list during the epidemic. And 500 jin of disinfectant will be enough for the station for half a month.

Mr. Kind even considerately prepared spray pots.

When the station staff kept expressing gratitude, he just waved his hands and said, “No need.”

Perfect squad

There was a touching photograph on the Internet recently.

13 people standing in a line: no pose, no special effects, the photo was not even clear enough to see their faces.

It made a perfect squad of “Safety for the People”, comprising Urban Management, Sanitation Maintainers, Unified Guards, Traffic Police, Assistant Police, Traffic Management, Neighborhood Office, doctor, nurse and Special Police.

Countless crews like this are guarding the people and the country amid epidemic, not for any attention.

“My mom is a superhero”

On Jan. 26, the second day of Chinese New Year, Zhang Min, Deputy Head Nurse of Anqing First People’s Hospital, is about to leave for an epidemic-stricken area.

With tears, her daughter held her tightly, not letting her go.

Min held her tears, telling her little girl: “Mom is going to fight against monsters. I promise I’ll be back soon.”

The same scene has occurred in many different places all over the country during this time.

Countless children holding their mothers tightly with heart-wrenching tears, begged them to stay.

However, those “iron heart” mothers just held their tears and set off, as doctors or nurses.
